Local students named to Bucknell dean's list

Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, named six area students to the dean’s list for academic achievement during the fall semester.

A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean’s list recognition. The following area students achieved the honor.

Michelle K. Ayoub of Cypress, the daughter of Paul Ayoub and Judith Conway-Ayoub of Cypress, is a 2008 graduate of International School Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Elizabeth A. Wiewiorowski of Moscow, the daughter of Martin and Cheryl Wiewiorowski of Houston, is a 2008 graduate of Anglo-American School Moscow in Russia.

Barbara B. Helgason of Houston, the daughter of M. Abdou of San Diego, California, and Thorunn Helgason of Houston, is a 2010 graduate of Saint John's School.

Ryan E. Ward of Houston, the son of Robert and Karen Ward of Houston, is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Virginia.

Noel M. Lampazzi of Houston, the daughter of Henry and Amy Lampazzi of Houston, is a 2009 graduate of Clear Lake High School.

Patrick J. Morsches of Bellaire, the son of Gary and Sherry Morsches of Wilmington, Delaware, is a 2008 graduate of Marist School in Atlanta, Georgia.
