Cy-Fair movers sued by client
A Pearland resident is suing Cy-Fair movers after, she says, they intentionally damaged her personal property.
Pearland resident Sarah Hillsman filed a lawsuit on Jan. 13 in the Harris County District Court against Rob Luke and All My Sons Moving and Storage of Cy-Fair, alleging negligence and violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
Hillsman says that in May 2009, she hired the defendants to move her to her new residence in Pearland. According to the brief, the defendants intentionally damaged her personal property while unloading it from the moving truck.
Hillsman is seeking damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Richard Plezia.
