Cy-Fair company sues Deer Park business over power-washing project
A Cy-Fair company is suing after providing materials and services for a garage repair project at the George Bush International Airport.
Goldstone Exterior Services, of Cy-Fair, filed a lawsuit on Jan. 20 in the Harris County District Court against Deer Park-area Millsap Waterproofing and Manhattan Construction Co., alleging breach of contract, breach of trust and violations of the Prompt Pay Act.
Goldstone Exterior Services says that in February 2008, it entered into an agreement with Millsap Waterproofing to pressure-wash all parking floors and ceilings, the exterior and interior of Helix and other places, for the IAH-Terminal C Parking Garage repair project at the George Bush International Airport. According to the brief, the defendants have failed to pay the plaintiff $76,451.65 for services rendered and materials provided for that project.
The plaintiff is seeking damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. It is being represented in the case by Houston attorney W. Jason Walker.
