Methodist Hospital System named to "Best Companies to Work For" list
The Methodist Hospital System recently was named in Fortune magazine’s "100 Best Companies to Work For in 2011" list.
The Methodist Hospital System continues to be the highest-ranked health care organization in the country and the only hospital system ranked in Texas. Methodist ranked No. 19 and is one of four companies in Houston to receive the prestigious distinction, according to the press release.
Methodist’s areas of distinction include its hiring of minorities and commitment to work-life balance.
Ron Girotto, president and CEO of the Methodist Hospital System, said the hospital system’s employees and physicians are the true reason Methodist Hospital System is such a great place to work.
