HS boys basketball: Jersey Village defeats Cy-Creek
Jersey Village defeated Cy-Creek in District 17-5A hoops action on Friday.
The Falcons won the game 54-44, moving to 5-17 overall and 2-4 in district play. Ryan Garcia, a junior guard, scored 24 points in the victory.
Jersey Village will visit Cy-Falls on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Friday’s loss dropped Cy-Creek to 8-16 on the year and 1-5 in district games. Joseph Munoz, a junior wing, scored 14 points in the defeat.
The Cougars will visit Cy-Springs on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
