Cy-Fair Dillard's sued over broken leg
A woman is suing after, she says, an unexpected table in a Dillard's store caused her to break her leg.
Dolores Cuellar filed a lawsuit on Jan. 25 in the Harris County District Court against Dillard Department Stores, alleging negligence.
Cuellar says that on July 28, 2011, she broke her leg while shopping at the Cy-Fair Dillard’s, located in Willowbrook Mall. According to the brief, Cuellar was browsing Dillard’s wares when she unexpectedly caught her foot on the leg of a table, obscured by a clothing rack, causing her to fall down and break her leg.
Cuellar is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Phillip Summers.
