HS boys basketball: Cy-Fair defeats Cy-Ridge
Cy-Fair defeated Cy-Ridge in District 17-5A hoops action on Tuesday.
The Bobcats won the game 45-36, moving to 10-15 overall and 5-2 in district play. Avain Rachel and BJ Jones each scored 11 points in the victory. Cy-Fair will host Cy-Springs on Friday at 7 p.m.
Tuesday’s loss dropped Cy-Ridge to 9-13 on the year and 2-5 in district games. Brandon Swannegan, a senior, scored 17 points in the defeat. Cy-Ridge will visit Jersey Village on Friday at 7 p.m.
