Cypress Creek crushed Cypress Springs 62-20 in District 17-5A high school girls basketball action on Tuesday.
Cypress Springs could only muster three points in the first half and fell behind 36-3.
The win ups Cypress Creek to 17-9 on the season and 6-3 in district play.
Senior Angelica Weaver scored a game-high 23 points for the winning side.
Cypress Creek will next host Cypress Lakes on Friday at 7 p.m.
The loss drops Cypress Springs to 3-19 on the season and 0-9 in district play.
Sable Wallace scored eight points in the loss.
Cypress Springs will next visit Cypress Woods on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
