Cypress Falls High School staff proposes school dress code

The staff at Cypress Falls High School is proposing a standardized dress code for students and recently released a timeline for the proposal.

Becky Denton, school principal, plans to announce the proposal via Facebook on Feb. 1.

Ballots will be mailed to parents on Feb. 18 with a requested return date of March 4. Home visits will take place within the following two weeks to parents who do not return their ballots. All ballots are due by March 25.

A town hall meeting is scheduled for Feb. 26.

According to the staff's action plan, their research shows that a standardized dress code will positively affect the campus and eliminate negative elements in hallways.
