Jersey Village HS grad Victoria Salazar hits double digits in McMurry victory
Jersey Village High School graduate Victoria Salazar scored 10 points to help McMurry defeat Hardin-Simmons 68-66 Monday night.
Salazar, a freshman guard, is fourth on the team in scoring at 7.1 points per game.
Salazar played four seasons for head coach Anthony DeCarlo at Jersey Village High School.
She was named second-team all-district her junior year, and her senior year she was named team captain and first-team all-district.
Born Jan. 20 1992, Salazar is majoring in education and hopes to become a middle school basketball coach.
