HS girls basketball: Cypress Creek defeats Langham Creek
Cypress Creek defeated Langham Creek 41-30 in District 17-5A high school girls basketball action on Tuesday.
A 13-3 second quarter sealed the win for Cypress Creek.
The win ups Cypress Creek to 19-9 on the season and 8-3 in district play.
Angelica Weaver led her team in scoring with 13 points.
Cypress Creek will next host Cypress Woods on Friday at 7 p.m.
The loss drops Langham Creek to 11-14 on the season and 3-8 in district play.
Senior Taylor Hollins registered nine points in the loss.
Langham Creek will next visit Cypress Falls on Friday at 7 p.m.
