HS boys basketball: Jersey Village defeats Cy-Fair

Jersey Village defeated Cy-Fair in District 17-5A hoops action on Saturday. 

The Falcons won the game 60-41, moving to 6-20 overall and 3-7 in district play. Ryan Garcia, a junior guard, scored 21 points in the victory.

Jersey Village will visit Cy-Lakes on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. 

Saturday’s loss dropped Cy-Fair to 10-18 on the year and 5-5 in district games. Avain Rachel, a junior, scored 10 points in the defeat.

Cy-Fair will host Langham Creek on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
