Students will go to school Feb. 21 to make up for bad weather
Monday, Feb. 21, previously designated on the 2010-11 school calendar as a make-up day for inclement weather, is now an instructional day for Cy-Fair Independent School District students due to the cancellation of school on Friday.
Icy road conditions lead to the cancellation of classes at Houston-area schools Feb. 4.
District officials said the instructional importance of Feb. 21 outweighs that of the designated inclement weather day in early June because it is far easier to regain instruction earlier in the semester.
