Cy-Fair ISD seeks contractor for property insurance

The Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District is seeking sealed bids from insurance companies for a one-year contract to insure the district's property.
 
As part of the proposal process, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is inviting interested companies to visit and review current loss prevention measures in the district's 11 high schools, 17 middle schools and 52 elementary schools.

In its call for bids, the district describes itself as growing "at a rapid pace, adding new schools each year."

If awarded, the contract for property insurance would begin April 1. The district will base its choice on the overall terms and conditions of the proposed policy, the financial rating of the underwriting insurance company, experience and service record history and compliance with basic proposal format.
