HS girls basketball: Cypress Ridge defeats Cypress Springs
Cypress Ridge narrowly got by Cypress Springs 50-46 in District 17-5A high school girls basketball action on Tuesday.
Cypress Springs had an early four-point lead but couldn’t hold on.
The win ends Cypress Ridge’s season at 7-27 and 2-11 in district play.
Cree Atkinson led her team to the victory with 16 points. Karissa Hayter added in 13.
The loss closes the season for Cypress Springs at 3-23 and 0-13 in district play.
Sable Wallace scored 15 points in the loss. Taliah Holier also added in 14.
