HS boys basketball: Cy-Lakes defeats Jersey Village
Cy-Lakes defeated Jersey Village in District 17-5A hoops action on Tuesday.
The Spartans won the game 72-50, moving to 21-11 overall and 7-4 in district games. Jonathon Bowen, a junior, scored 16 points in the victory.
Cy-Lakes will visit Langham Creek on Friday at 7 p.m.
Tuesday’s loss dropped the Falcons to 6-21 overall and 3-8 in district games. Ryan Garcia, a junior guard, scored 17 points in the defeat.
Jersey Village will visit Cy-Ridge on Friday at 7 p.m.
