HS girls basketball: Cypress Falls defeats Cypress Woods
Cypress Falls routed Cypress Woods 55-39 in District 17-5A high school girls basketball action on Tuesday.
A 23-13 second quarter helped Cypress Falls gain some distance in the game, and the team charged on for the victory.
The win ends Cypress Falls’ season at 34-1 and a perfect 12-0 in district play.
Shernise Robertson led her team to the victory with 15 points.
The loss closes the season for Cypress Woods at 26-5 and 11-2 in district play.
Camille Williams scored nine points in the loss.
