HS boys basketball: Cy-Ridge defeats Cy-Springs
Cy-Ridge defeated Cy-Springs in District 17-5A hoops action on Tuesday.
The Rams won the game 65-52, moving to 13-13 overall and 6-5 in district play. Brandon Swannegan, a senior, scored 29 points in the victory.
Cy-Ridge will host Jersey Village on Friday at 7 p.m.
Tuesday’s loss dropped the Panthers to 17-14 on the year and 7-4 in district games. Richard Benedyth, a junior guard, scored 20 points in the defeat.
Cy-Springs will visit Cy-Creek on Friday at 7 p.m.
