HS girls soccer: Jersey Village topples Cypress Springs
Jersey Village pounded Cypress Springs 8-0 in District 17-5A high school girls soccer action on Tuesday.
Six goals in the first half was plenty to lead the Falcons to an easy victory over the Panthers.
The win ups Jersey Village to 2-3-0 on the season and 1-0-0 in district play.
Megan Mugavero was on fire, scoring five goals in the match. Kadie Walaszczyk and Brittany Robinett both added a goal.
Jersey Village will next host Cypress Falls on Friday at 7 p.m.
The loss brings Cypress Springs to 1-6-0 on the season and 0-2-0 in district play.
