LSC-CyFair Bosque Gallery presents 'Lookie' exhibition

Lone Star College-CyFair's Bosque Gallery will display artist Wendy Wagner's "Lookie" exhibition from Tuesday, Feb. 22, through Thursday, March 10.

Wagner’s paintings, sculptures and animation, according to the gallery, draws on a “rich store of invented whimsical iconography” as she investigates personal narratives from her past and present.

“As with all of my work, there is a lighthearted curiosity and silliness,” said Wagner, 2008 winner of the prestigious Hunting Art Prize. “I am rewarded, however, and amazed by how my subconscious mind continually communicates through the process of creating art.”

An opening reception will be held on Thursday, Feb. 24, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Center for the Arts on the Barker Cypress campus, located at 9191 Barker Cypress.
