HS boys basketball: Cy-Springs defeats Cy-Creek
Cy-Springs defeated Cy-Creek in District 17-5A hoops action on Friday.
The Panthers won the game 81-59, moving to 18-14 overall and 8-4 in district play. Richard Benedyth, a junior guard, scored 31 points in the victory.
Cy-Springs will host Langham Creek on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Friday’s loss dropped the Cougars to 9-21 on the year and 2-10 in district games. Joseph Munoz, a junior guard, scored 22 points in the defeat.
Cy-Creek will host Cy-Ridge on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
