HS boys soccer: Cypress Springs tops Cypress Ridge
Cypress Springs topped Cypress Ridge 2-1 in District 17-5A high school boys soccer action on Friday.
Kevin Garcia scored both goals to lead the Panthers over the Rams.
The win ups Cypress Springs to 7-2-3 on the season and 2-0-1 in district play.
Cypress Springs will next host Cypress Creek on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Cypress Ridge is now to 1-4-2 on the season and 0-3-0 in district play.
Preston Nevlud registered the one goal for the Rams.
Cypress Ridge will next visit Jersey Village on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
