HS girls soccer: Jersey Village defeats Cypress Falls
Jersey Village shut out Cypress Falls 5-0 in District 17-5A high school girls soccer action on Friday.
Megan Mugavero had two goals to help the Falcons overpower the Eagles for the win. Brittany Robinett, Kadie Walaszcyk and Emily Dureala also scored for Jersey Village.
The win ups Jersey Village to 3-3-0 on the season and 2-0-0 in district play. Jersey Village will next host Cypress Creek on Friday at 7 p.m.
The loss brings Cypress Falls to 4-9-0 on the season and 0-3-0 in district play. Cypress Falls will next visit Langham Creek on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
