HS boys soccer: Cypress Creek falls to Cy-Fair
Cypress Creek was defeated by Cy-Fair 3-1 in high school boys soccer action on Friday.
The win brings Cy-Fair to 5-2-1 on the season and 2-0-0 in district play. Xavier Jiminez scored two goals in the victory. Carols Mendoza also chipped in a goal.
Cy-Fair will next host Cypress Springs on Friday at 7 p.m.
The loss drops Cypress Creek to 7-5-1 on the season. Austin Lupton scored the one goal for the Cougars, assisted by Collin Bates.
Cypress Creek will next visit Cypress Springs on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
