HS girls basketball: Cypress Falls defeats Nimitz
Cypress Falls destroyed Nimitz 68-40 in high school girls basketball playoff action on Monday.
Cypress Falls jumped out to a 10-point lead in the first quarter and cruised to the victory.
The win ups Cypress Falls to 35-1 on the season and 13-0 in district play.
Macy Moore led her team to the victory with 18 points. Larissa Scott contributed 16.
Nimitz falls to 14-17 on the season and 6-6 in district play.
Jesse Landry scored a dozen points on the losing side.
