LSC-Cy-Fair staff Excellence Award winners recognized

Lone Star College-Cy-Fair recently named the winners of its Staff Excellence Awards. 

The winners were Earl Brewer, Linda Peterson, Julie Hutchinson -- a 2005 winner -- and Daniel Propes. They were chosen for their contributions to the college and their vision of excellence.

Brewer began as a part-time maintenance technician for LSC-Fairbanks Center in April 2002 and became a full-time maintenance technician in August 2002, working at the Barker Cypress location.

Peterson has been a human resources specialist III since 2007 and served as interim HR manager in 2009.

Hutchinson began as a division coordinator for Humanities, Math and CIT in 2003 and is now the division operations manager.

And Propes, who was a part-time circulation specialist I in the library in February 2008, became a full-time circulation specialist III in July 2009.

The winners will be among those recognized at a system-wide awards event this spring.
