HS boys basketball: Cy-Lakes defeats Cy-Woods
Cy-Lakes defeated Cy-Woods in District 17-5A hoops action on Tuesday.
The Spartans won the game 68-59, moving to 23-11 overall and 9-4 in district play. Zac Garth and Jonathon Bowen each scored 21 points in the victory.
Tuesday’s loss dropped the Wildcats to 2-25 on the year and 0-13 in district games. Cody Thomas, a junior forward, scored 14 points in the defeat.
Tuesday’s contest was the final regular season game for both teams.
