Cy-Fair real property firm sues over fees
A real property appraisal firm in Cy-Fair is suing over fees for services rendered.
Lewis Realty Advisors of Cy-Fair filed a lawsuit on Feb. 15 in the Harris County District Court against Linett Wilkerson, alleging breach of contract.
Lewis Realty says that on April 14, 2010, Wilkerson hired it to appraise and provide consulting services on 44 properties, agreeing to pay Lewis Realty’s service fees and reasonable expenses. According to the brief, Wilkerson breached the contract by refusing to pay Lewis Realty over $111,000 in fees and expenses.
Lewis Realty is seeking all amounts due, attorney’s fees and court costs. It is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Stanford Dow.
