Lowe's sued over Cy-Fair trip-and-fall
A woman is suing Lowe’s Home Centers after, she says, she broke her wrist while shopping at its Cy-Fair location.
Loretta Ronnenkamp filed a lawsuit on Feb. 18 in the Harris County District Court against Lowe’s Homes Centers and Lowe’s Companies Inc., alleging negligence.
Ronnenkamp says that on March 3, 2009, she was seriously injured while shopping at Lowe’s, located at 15555 FM 529 in Cy-Fair. According to the brief, her feet became entangled in shipping/packing material that had been left on the floor, which caused her to fall backward and break her right wrist.
Ronnenkamp is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Joseph Terry.
