Cy-Springs HS grad Nicoya Jackson leads Florida Gulf Coast to Victory.

Cy-Springs High School graduate Nicoya Jackson led Florida Gulf Coast to a 64-59 win over Stetson Monday.

Jackson scored 13 points, grabbed seven rebounds, tallied three steals and dished out one assist in the victory.

Jackson, a junior forward, averages 6.1 points per game and two rebounds per game.

At Cy-Springs, Jackson earned Newcomer of the Year in 2006. She was named first team All-District, All-Region and All-Conference on two occasions.

Born Dec. 29, 1989, Jackson is the daughter of Tracey Jackson and is a criminal justice major.
