Jersey Village cheer boosters plan March 12 blood drive and car show

The Jersey Village Cheer booster club will host its inaugural community Blood Drive and Open Car Show at Jersey Village High School on Saturday, March 12.

Setup begins at 10 a.m., with the awards ceremony and raffles scheduled at 3 p.m. Trophies will be handed out for best paint, wheels, interior, engine and best of show. There will also be 20 People's Choice awards. All vehicle makes and models are welcome to compete.

Pre-registration will cost $20. Registration will be $25 on the day of the show. People can sign up to donate blood at Giveblood.org and click on "Digital Donor" or e-mail jvhscheerbooster@yahoo.com.

Jersey Village High School is located at 7600 Solomon Drive.
