HS girls softball: Cy-Ranch trounces Cy-Ridge
Cy-Ranch powered its way to a 12-2 victory over Cy-Ridge in District 17-5A high school girls softball action on Friday.
Kaitlyn Fridel, Shelby Hobelman and Lauren Montgomery all homered for the Mustangs in the victory.
The win ups Cy-Ranch to 3-3 overall and 2-0 in district play.
Nicole Wilganowski struck out five on her way to the win.
Cy-Ranch will next visit Jersey Village on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The loss drops Cy-Ridge to 1-4 on the season and 0-3 in district play.
Denise Delsignore took the loss.
Cy-Ridge will next visit Cy-Lakes on Wednesday at noon.
