Cy-Fair Saab sued over alleged leaking container
A woman is suing after, she says, Saab in Cy-Fair failed to warn her of the store’s dangerous condition caused by a leaking beverage container.
Theresa Ratliff filed a lawsuit on Feb. 25 in the Harris County District Court against Saab Petroleum 529 Ltd., alleging negligence.
Ratliff says that on May 12, 2010, she was seriously injured while in the gas station of Saab Petroleum, located at 13051 FM 529 Road in Cy-Fair. According to the brief, the store’s beverage container was leaking water onto the floor, causing Ratliff physical pain and mental anguish.
Ratliff is seeking compensatory and punitive damages, as well as court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Justin Carlisle.
