Cy-Fair company sues over swine feed

A Cy-Fair company is suing a Lindale resident over $9,282.67 worth of swine feed.

Conda Maze JRP LLC of Cy-Fair and Conda Maze filed a lawsuit on Feb. 28 in the Harris County District Court against Kip Winters, alleging breach of contract and conversion.

The plaintiffs say that in 2008 and 2009, it sold Winters $9,282.67 worth of swine feed. According to the brief, Winters has not paid the amount due, even though he hasn’t challenged the reasonableness of the charges or the quality of the feed.

The plaintiffs are seeking actual and consequential damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. They are being represented in the case by Dallas attorney David Chumbley.
