Cy-Springs alum Nicoya Jackson dominates for Florida Gulf Coast
Cy-Springs High School graduate Nicoya Jackson led the FGCU women’s basketball team to a 92-44 win over Longwood on Saturday night.
Jackson scored 15 points and grabbed five boards in the win.
Jackson, a junior forward, averages 6.1 points per game and two rebounds per game.
At Cy-Springs, Jackson earned "Newcomer of the Year" in 2006. She was named first team All-District, All-Region and All-Conference on two occasions.
Born Dec. 29, 1989, Jackson is the daughter of Tracey Jackson. She is majoring in criminal justice.
