Cy-Springs alum Nicoya Jackson does it again for FGCU
Nicoya Jackson
Cy-Springs High School graduate Nicoya Jackson helped Florida Gulf Coast defeat SIU Edwardsville 73-68 Sunday.
Jackson scored 12 points, grabbed four rebounds, blocked a shot and dished out an assist in the victory.
Jackson, a junior forward, averages 6.1 points per game and two rebounds per game.
At Cy-Springs, Jackson earned "Newcomer of the Year" in 2006. She was named first team All-District, All-Region and All-Conference on two occasions.
Born Dec. 29, 1989, Jackson is the daughter of Tracey Jackson. She is majoring in criminal justice.
