Bowling alley rolls a strike in county food safety inspections
The food preparation facility at a local bowling alley received its second perfect score in a year on food safety tests from Harris County.
County staff visited Copperfield Bowl, 15615 Glen Chase Drive, on March 7. It gave the establishment zero demerits out of a possible 100, meaning the staff observed no noteworthy violations.
Copperfield also received a perfect score in a July 2010 inspection, though three demerits were assessed in a September 2010 visit. An establishment must receive 20 demerits to be considered "of concern" and in need of a follow-up visit.
