Tomball resident sued over Cy-Fair parking lot incident
A Tomball resident is being sued after witnesses claimed he keyed a 2009 Mercedes-Benz C300 in a Cy-Fair parking lot.
Samantha Martinez filed a lawsuit on March 18 in the Harris County District Court against Tomball resident Brandon Walston, alleging intentional damage to her vehicle.
Martinez says that while she and a friend were at Whiskey River, located at 7637 FM 1960 Road in Cy-Fair on Feb. 17, 2011, Walston keyed her 2009 Mercedes-Benz C300. Martinez’s friend stated that she saw Walston circling the car at 1 a.m.
As there were witnesses to his acts, Walston was arrested for damaging the vehicle, according to the brief.
Martinez is seeking actual, economic and exemplary damages, as well as attorney’s fees and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Colleen McClure.
