Local day care passes county food safety inspection with just one violation
A daycare in the Cy-Fair area recently passed a Harris County food safety inspection with just one violation.
Angel's Academy Daycare, located at 10111 Grant Road #C, was inspected on Feb. 1. County officials gave the facility three demerits out of a possible 100. A business must earn 20 demerits to be considered "of concern" and in need of a follow-up visit.
The three demerits were given for a problem with the labeling of potentially toxic items. According to the county website, this is not a problem commonly associated with food-borne illness by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Angel's Academy also scored three demerits on its last inspection, which took place in August 2010.
