HS girls softball preview: Cy Lakes vs. Cy Ranch

Cy Lakes will battle Cy Ranch in girls softball action on Friday.

"We are closely matched with Cy-Ranch and have a small rivalry since we are the two new schools and many of the players know each other well," said Cy-Lakes HC Shauna Eller. "This should be an exciting game that we expect will go down to the last inning."

Game time is scheduled for 12 p.m. at Cy Lakes.
                       
Cy Lakes has a 12-9-0 record on the season and is 5-3-0 in district play. On Tuesday, Cy Lakes lost to Cy Woods, 3-2.    

Cy Ranch is 9-7-0 on the year and 7-1-0 in district. On Tuesday, Cy Ranch beat Cy Falls, 14-0, as Kaitlyn Friedel and Lauren Montgomery both scored three runs.
                       
After Friday’s game, Cy Lakes next plays Cy Creek on Tuesday.

Cy Ranch next plays Langham Creek on Tuesday.
