HS girls softball preview: Cy-Fair vs. Cy Springs
Cy-Fair will battle Cy Springs in girls softball action on Friday.
"This is a very important game for us," said Cy-Fair coach Debbie Burrow. "This closes out the first half of district and we need this victory to remain in first place. The girls have been working hard and I know they will remain focused to achieve their goal."
Game time is scheduled for 12 p.m. at Cy-Fair.
Cy-Fair has a 13-8-0 record on the season and is 8-0-0 in district play. On Tuesday, Cy-Fair beat Jersey Village, 13-4, as Amanda Fulkerson scored three runs.
Cy Springs is 2-10-0 on the year and 2-5-0 in district. On Friday, Cy Springs beat Cy Ridge, 13-3.
After Friday’s game, Cy-Fair next plays Cy Ridge on Tuesday.
Cy Springs next plays Jersey Village on Tuesday.
