Cy Springs HS grad Taylor Brown has big day at plate for Southern Miss
Cy Springs High School graduate Taylor Brown led the Southern Mississippi Eagles offensively with a three-for-three performance including a triple, but they fell 4-2 to Jackson State in college softball action on Wednesday.
Brown, a freshman outfielder, scored both runs in the loss.
Brown played at Cy Springs in 2006-10, where she earned First-Team All-District honors four times and was named her team's MVP. She is the daughter of Darryl and Lisa Brown.
