Lakes looks to break through
Cy Lakes, in only its second varsity softball season, has yet to beat Cy Creek in three tries, and that includes a 7-5 loss at Cy Creek earlier this season.
If the Lady Spartans turn the tables, it could be another big step towards what would be a historic postseason berth, and if Cy Creek pulls off the series sweep for a second straight season, it could serve as a valuable tiebreaker in deciding what four teams advance to the playoffs.
