HS baseball: Langham Creek defeats Cy Falls
Langham Creek defeated Cy Falls in District 17-5A baseball action on Friday.
The Lobos, 13-2-0 overall and 4-1-0 is district play, won the game 12-0.
Hayden Jones crushed a double in the win and Brandon Montalvo pitched out of some early-inning jams. He struck out eight, walked four and hit two batters while giving up four hits.
The Lobos scored 11 runs in the third inning.
"An 11-run inning with two outs, I don't think I have ever seen that," Lobos coach Armando Sedeno said. "We hit about eight peas all in a row. They threw an error in there, and it just snowballed."
Langham Creek will visit Cy Ranch on Saturday at 2 p.m.
The loss drops Cy Falls to 3-5-0 on the season and 0-4-0 in district games.
The Golden Eagles will visit Cy Ridge on Friday at 7 p.m.
