Cypress company sues over services and materials
A Cypress construction company is suing after performing carpentry work in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Ebenezer Construction of Cypress filed a lawsuit on March 30 in the Harris County District Court against Montford Management and Howard Akin, citing breach of contract, conversion, fraud, conspiracy, negligence and gross negligence.
The plaintiff says that the defendants hired it to provide rough carpentry work on a project called Residence @ Riverdale Apartments, in Little Rock, Arkansas. The suit claims that the defendants breached their agreement by refusing to pay Ebenezer Construction over $136,000 for services rendered and materials provided.
Ebenezer Construction is seeking actual and exemplary damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. It is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Todd Feder.
