LSC-CyFair kid college to hold early bird registration

Two early bird registration dates are set for Saturdays, April 16 and April 30, from 8 a.m. to noon for the Lone Star College-CyFair’s (LSC-CyFair) Discovery College summer camp.

The theme for the weeklong sessions that begin Monday, June 6, is "Learning for Fun." The summer camp sessions provide children an opportunity to develop skills and learn new ones in a friendly environment.

"What differentiates Discovery College from other camps is that we strive to promote academic, social and emotional learning in all of our sessions," said Kenya White, director of Continuing Education. "This holistic approach is what makes learning fun."

Camps are held at the Barker Cypress campus, 9191 Barker Cypress, and the Fairbanks Center campus, 14955 N.W. Freeway. The cost of the weeklong sessions is $99 per class. Regular registration begins Monday, May 16.
