Two local HS alums pace UT Tyler in victory
Two local high school alums helped UT Tyler take on Mississippi College in softball action on Thursday.
Cy-Fair High school graduate Stacy Shepherd, a senior pitcher, went the distance for UT Tyler, striking out five in the 7-2 victory. Shepherd is second on the team in wins with six and innings pitched with 38.2.
Magnolia High School graduate Mae Nowak brought in a two–run homer. Nowak, a sophomore outfielder, is second on the team with 25 RBIs and six home runs.
