HS girls softball: Cy Woods tops Jersey Village
In a battle of offenses, Cy Woods recorded an 8-6 win over Jersey Village in District 17-5A high school girls softball action on Friday.
Morgan Truitt picked up the win and Ashley Abbott closed the game out for the save.
The win ups Cy Woods to 11-9 overall and 8-3 in district play.
Cy Woods will next visit Cy Creek on Tuesday at noon.
The loss drops Jersey Village to 12-10 overall and 7-4 in district play.
Megan Mobley took the loss for the Falcons.
Jersey Village will next visit Cy Ranch on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
