HS baseball: Langham Creek defeats Cy Springs
Langham Creek defeated Cy Springs in District 17-5A baseball action Friday.
The Lobos, 16-2-0 overall and 6-1-0 in district play, won the game 10-0.
Carter Magnum and Matt Richardson hit doubles in the victory, while Brandon Montalvo struck out nine Panthers to earn the win on the mound.
Langham Creek will visit Cy Lakes on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Friday’s loss drops Cy Springs to 0-13-0 on the season and 0-7-0 in district play.
Brenden Twomey struck out three Lobos in taking the loss for the Panthers, who will host Cy Ridge on Friday at 7 p.m.
