HS baseball: Cy Creek defeats Cy Falls
Cy Creek defeated Cy Falls in District 17-5A baseball action Saturday.
The Cougars, 12-7-0 overall and 6-2-0 in district play, won the game, 6-5.
Cy Creek scored six runs on 11 hits and took advantage of three Golden Eagle errors.
Pitcher Evan Thomas earned the victory for the Cougars, who will host Jersey Village on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Saturday’s loss drops Cy Falls to 3-7-0 overall and 0-6-0 in district games.
Patrick Richards took the loss for the Golden Eagles, who will host Cy-Fair on Friday at 7 p.m.
